Busy, busy, busy.....

Phew! I think I need to come up for some air. I've been working through my customs list the last few weeks and I almost feel like I'm getting caught up. Almost. I have some pictures of my recent finished items below. And to the people who are still waiting - I appreciate all of your patience!

I also have an announcement coming up soon, stay tuned, shhhhhh, I can't say anything yet!

Is it winter yet?

No, not really, I'm loving summer. But I am excited about a recent project and I can't wait until it's cooler so Myah can wear it. A few of my on-line woolie girlfriends and I did this project as a KAL (that's Knit Along for you non-knitters) and it was a really fun knit. I really wanted to use a particular yarn and it took me a few months to find it, but it was well worth the wait. At least I think so. What do you think? :)

No more coffee in the house.....

Yes that's right, absolutely no more coffee. My husband and I did some research the past few days and we made the decision to stop drinking caffeinated beverages. Which is why I have a headache today. Total caffeine withdrawal. Ugh.

I could bore you with my coffee talk, but my head hurts too much to type it all out! Ha!

I'm told it gets easier as the days and weeks go by, but my goodness, did I ever want my cup of coffee this morning! A nice brew of fresh mint tea had to suffice.

On the woolie front, I have another pair of Mustgo's to share, they were sent out last week and I am anxiously awaiting action shots - I can't wait to see them on their new owner!

June showers bring July flowers?

Our weather here in Prince George has certainly changed over the last two weeks. It went from crazy hot to cool and rainy and has stayed that way for the last week. Thunderstorms, hail, rain, wind, you wouldn't know it was summer anymore!

I suppose one good thing about the wet weather is a bit more time indoors and in turn, more knitting time. I think I have about 5 projects on the go right now, and of course I want to start another. There are two sweaters I want to get started for Myah, and I also want to finish a wrap top I started for her a few months ago. It's been sitting in time out due to some pooling issues, so I'm hoping it will behave now. And I have a lot of business knitting on my plate as well, so it's going to be a busy summer and fall. It's a good thing I love knitting!

Before I go, here are some recently completed projects, both were custom Mustgo's and I love how they worked up, experimenting with different colours is so much fun :)

Summertime already!

We're in the midst of a heat wave right now in Central BC, today's high temperature was around 29 degrees (that's about 90 degrees Fahrenheit) - but we're not complaining! After months of snow and below freezing temperatures this is a very welcomed season. Give it a few weeks though and I'm sure I'll be yearning for fall and cooler temperatures. :)

I finally finished up Myah's capris and they are probably my favourite pair right now. I love how the yarn worked up (the colourway is "Water Lily" on Corriedale from Baby Bean Designs).

Also finished up a pair of capris for the super sweet mama who designed my new shop on Hyena Cart. I can't wait to see some action shots!

I plan on stocking a few things on the 15th of the month - make sure to check it out :)

Time flies....

Gosh, where does the time go? Well, it's finally Spring here, all the snow has finally melted and the grass is getting green and yes, my daffodils are blooming! And the tulips are not far behind.

Just thought I'd let those of you on my custom's waitlist know that I am just cleaning up a few things for my stocking on the 15th of the month, and then I'll be contacting the next few people to get measurements - I haven't forgotten about you all! I've just been slightly swamped with various knitting, Mom, household and day-to-day "stuff". So thank you for being so patient.

Here are a few pictures, first one is a custom I just finished - shorties done in the "Rock" colourway on BFL from Union Center Knits. And the second photo is a WIP picture of a pair of capris I am making for Myah, I can't wait to get her in them :D
